Hand Painted African Ostrich EggThis beautiful work of art was hand-painted by artist Julie Morgan on an actual hollowed-out African ostrich egg.I\'ve included shots of all sides of the egg.The egg shows a Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Lion and a Leopard.Julie Morgan has signed the bottom of the egg.
The egg is very glossy so trying to photograph it was a challenge. I found the best way was outside in direct sunlight. So the spots of light you see are the sun reflecting off of the surface.
The egg is about 6\" tall...a bit taller if you include the base.The circumference is about 17\"The base shown in the photos is included.
