Pearls of Prayer - Prayers and Instructions for Children
Published in Czechoslovakia in 1925, this book has a beautiful celluloid cover featuring Mary with the Child Jesus. It was probably originally intended as a First Communion gift as Jesus is holding the Eucharist in the picture. The book has a 3D Crucifix on the inside cover and lovely color renderings throughout. It includes prayers to be said throughout the day and the Stations of the Cross at the back.The book measures approximately 4\" x 2.5\".
This book is actually in incredible shape given that it is over 100 years old. The front and back covers are in good condition. The pages do have some yellowing and wear at the ends. All of the pages except one are securely attached to the binding. I have included a photograph of the one page where there is a separation and many other detailed photographs.
