This Vintage W.T. Rawleigh Medical Co White Rose Perfume BOX ONLY with the trademark RAWLEIGH'S on the front top of the box. Manufactured by the W.T. Rawleigh Medical Company, Importers, Chemists, Perfumers from Freeport, Illinois U.S.A.
Box measures just under 5" long and is 2" wide and 1.5" deep. Front graphic is a white rose with the writing in red and green. The graphics of a white rose are on the long sides and short ends of the box. They are embossed so are textured. As there is no evidence of the graphic on the inside, I think they printed everything on a label, with embossing and then secured it to the top and sides of the box. The background of the label is a pale "vintage pink" color.
From the 1900's, old, beat up, graphics are still visible as is the writing on the front of the box. Box is banged and beat up, well loved, one end is darkened from sun exposure. There are stains, creases, gouges, peeling label and discoloration all over. Please see the photos and ask questions! Sides and corners are sturdy and intact.
