Pair Antique French Pewter Ice Cream Molds Oyster Shell 1739 & Walnut Letang LG For Sale

This is a fantastic paired lot of two (2) authentic, highly detailed antique French pewter ice cream/confectionery molds. Both pieces were crafted by the legendary Parisian maker Letang Fils et Cie and features exceptionally detailed culinary textures on the interior. These make for incredible decorative kitchenalia or focal display pieces for collectors of historic French antiques. Molds included in this lot: 1- The Oyster / Bivalve Seashell Mold (Pattern No. 1739). Features a deeply ridged, multi-layered interior that perfectly mimics a realistic oyster half-shell. 1- The Walnut/ Nut Mold: Features an intricate walnut half-shell texture lining the upper walls of the cavity over a deep well to cast a realistic multi-dimensional nut. Both molds feature the clear, authentic "L G" company stamp cast directly into the outer pewter surface. The oyster mold retains its crisp, legible catalog model number "1739". Both molds are in excellent antique condition with a beautiful, authentic dark-aged gray patina.
