The Pascagoula Abduction was a UFO sighting and Alien Abduction in 1973, in which Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were abducted in Pascagoula, Mississippi, the story is told in Calvin’s 2018 book “My Story” and the 2020 documentary “Alien Contact: The Pascagoula UFO Encounter”
On the evening of October 11, 1973, 42-year-old Charles Hickson and 19-year-old Calvin Parker were fishing off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River, when they heard a whirring/whizzing sound, saw two flashing blue lights, and observed an oval shaped object 30–40 feet across and 8–10 feet high. Three creatures came out of the craft and took them aboard. Completely paralyzed but still conscious, the two men were subjected to a medical exam before being returned to shore, and the craft sped away into the night sky.
On June 22, 2019, a historical marker was unveiled at the site of the abduction, by the historical society. Calvin Parker died in 2023 at the age of 68 and Charles Hickson died in 2011 at the age of 80
