This is a Pelikan Souverän M405 Silver Trim fountain pen.
The M405 is a model from Pelikan’s renowned Souverän series, based on the M400 and featuring silver-colored trim. Introduced in 2002, it offers the same compact and easy-to-handle size as the M400, while the silver-colored trim gives it a more understated and refined appearance compared with the gold-trimmed version.
The clip, cap rings, and other trim are finished in silver color. It features Pelikan’s distinctive beak-shaped clip, along with the classic ring details on the cap and barrel that characterize the Souverän series.
The pen is fitted with a 14K gold nib in F (Fine). This nib size is well suited for everyday writing and for writing relatively small and detailed characters.
The filling system is Pelikan’s traditional piston-filling mechanism. Ink is drawn directly into the barrel by turning the piston knob at the end of the pen, so no cartridges or converters are required.
The condition is Very Good. As this is a pre-owned item, there may be some minor scratches or signs of use and storage, but overall it remains in clean and well-preserved condition.
