Phenakite Gem Crystal Terminated Drillbit Twin Rare Larger Specimen - Burma 5 ct For Sale

Phenakite

Ketchel Village, Shan State, Myanmar, Burma

5.05 ct.

18x6x5mm

A rare, larger crystal of gem Phenakite from the famous finds of Myanmar, Burma. This is one of a group of several of the largest pieces found from the mines between 2022 and 2023. Sessions Fine Art and Minerals is proud to present exclusively some the largest single gem crystals available publicly anywhere on the internet as we work directly with the wholesale suppliers who buy the entire production yearly and reserve some of the best of the best for us each year. This particular piece does have some slight internal fracturing, making it gem quality, not internally flawless facet grade. However, the exterior of the crystal from the base up is flawless with perfect hexagonal prismatic form and it exhibits a highly complex termination with a large amount of sharp, glassy termination faces with mostly classic form and a hint of drillbit twinning visible around the edges.
