January 1990 — Centerfold: Peggy McIntaggart. The Holiday Anniversary Issue: an intense Tom Cruise interview, a sultry pictorial of Hollywood newcomer Joan Severance (cover), "Decade Delirium" offerding the Eighties farewell, Andy Warhol's divine Playboy art, the Annual Playmate Review, and the College Basketball Preview.
February 1990 — Centerfold: Pamela Anderson — her Playmate debut, the first appearance of a future superstar and Playmate of the Year. Plus the Eddie Murphy interview ("an interview that says it all") and "The Women of Russia," a naked look at glasnost from inside the U.S.S.R.
March 1990 — Centerfold: Deborah Driggs. The famous Donald Trump cover and interview ("Nice magazine. Want to sell it?"), plus "Rock and Racism," Cars 1990 (the hottest, sharpest, sexiest picks), and world-class Playmates from Playboy's far-flung empire.
