An original Order of the Banner of Labour (Order Sztandaru Pracy), 2nd Class, of the Polish People’s Republic, awarded for outstanding achievements in industry, science, culture, and public service.
The obverse features a white enamel cross with radiating rays and a blue central medallion depicting a worker holding a banner, symbolising labour and progress. The red enamel banner bears the inscription “PRL.” Suspended from a red ribbon with narrow dark stripes, representing Poland’s socialist colours.
Condition is very good, with bright enamel and minor age wear.
