The postcard is an unusual size of 8.5" x 3.75". It is an aerial view of a mass of people and in the background there is a sign that has "All One in Christ Jesus". It was so fun to look at the people under a magnifying glass and truly see their expressions. There is a lady in the front row with a hat that is great. This postcard may be older than from the year 1900, Alfred Pettitt passed in 1880. It is possible this may be a steregram also.
Alfred Pettitt (c. 1820/1821–1880) was a notable English landscape photographer and painter recognized for his extensive work documenting the English Lake District.Based in Windermere and Keswick from the 1850s, he produced, with his brother George W., some of the earliest and most comprehensive series of stereograms of the region, while also working as an oil painter. - Postcards Under $20: If your postcard is priced under $20 the postcard will be sleeved and sent in a thin cardboard mailer using Standard Envelope (ESE) tracking. Note that ESE tracking only tracks movement between processing centers and does not provide mailbox-to-mailbox tracking. A "Delivered" or "Out For Delivery" scan indicates that the postcard has reached the final sorting center prior to your local post office; it may take a few extra days, to a week (& add up to an additional week during Xmas), to reach your mailbox. Expect potential delays of up to 3 weeks within the U.S. due to USPS's poor performance; international delivery ($2.50) may take 4-5 weeks.
- Postcards Over $20: Your postcard will be sent in a hard toploader and packaged securely. It will be shipped "Ground Advange Calculated" unless you need it faster, then I can update the shipping. The "Ground Advanage" will costs about $5.00.
