Yes ~ You saw right! ~ This Awesome ~ 1934 Wagner Ware ~ MAGNALITE ~ #4269 ~ 17 Quart Roaster ~ Has the VERY RARE ~ "Clam Handles" ~ and is looking for its Forever Home ~
I am not an expert but have been led to believe that Wagner only produced this Clam Handle Design in 1934 before switching permanently to the Handle on the Body Design ~
This Roaster is in Very Good to Excellent Vintage Condition considering its age (92 years and still Cooking Strong)~ It retains the Original Brass Handle Screws and comes with the Original Trivet ~ More importantly ~ It Sits Flat ~ The inside has minor stains but minimal pitting (see pictures) ~ the exterior shows age appropriate wear, staining and minor scuffs and scratches but all in all This Roaster is a Great Candidate for full restoration ~ a little time with a buffer and this Roaster will look Brand New ~
The Price represents its Rarity but I am open to reasonable offers ~ no tire kickers please ~
It measures 20-1/8 handle to handle ~ 12-1/4" wide and stands 10-1/2" tall ~ the Roaster is 5-1/2" deep
