Okay, here we go people. This is a long list of errors.
The printing and the embossing on the logos and titling on (front & spine) is slightly misaligned. I have only seen this a couple times and only on first printings of these books.
The "Eleven O.W.L.s" Error: On Page 100, the text incorrectly states that Hermione got "eleven" outstanding O.W.L.s when it should be "ten".
Abrupt Ending Error: ends on page 652 instead of the standard 672 pages.
Other minor changes found in early copies (often corrected in later printings) include:
Page 10: "site" incorrectly used instead of "sight"
Page 269: The infamous "A Wooden Chair" addition in later prints is not present in this copy.
Page 476: "twenty-four hours" in the first printings, later changed to "twelve" in revised editions.
