Up for sale/sale is an extraordinarily rare, museum-quality find for serious antique perfume collectors: a completely FULL and UNOPENED bottle of Floramye by L.T. Piver, Paris.
Launched in 1905, Floramye is a historic milestone in perfumery, famous for being one of the earliest commercial fragrances to pioneer the use of synthetic aldehydes. This specific flacon is a spectacular, time-capsule presentation from the early Art Nouveau era.
Condition & Key Collector Details:
• 100% Original, Untampered Juice: The bottle remains completely full of its original amber-colored liquid. It has never been opened or sampled.
• Intact Baudruchage Factory Seal: The original animal membrane (baudruche) seal wrapped around the collar and stopper is entirely unbroken. The factory-wrapped securing twine and the patterned gold/black paper neck label are fully intact beneath the seal.
• Front Polychrome Label: The iconic Art Nouveau front paper label features deep violets, golds, and blacks. It shows beautiful, authentic aging with minor edge wear but remains fully legible and structurally sound.
• Faceted Crystal-Style Stopper: Features the magnificent geometric, faceted glass stopper sitting snugly in the neck under its original seal.
• Molded \"DÉPOSÉ FRANCE\" Base: The bottom of the bottle features a stunning pressed-glass sunburst/starburst pattern with the molded legal marking \"DÉPOSÉ\" and \"FRANCE\", confirming its early French glasshouse production.
• Secondary Pharmacy/Inventory Label: The back of the glass features a tiny, authentic red-bordered retailer tracking sticker with handwritten inventory notations, providing wonderful provenance of its historical retail life.
Note: No presentation box is included. Due to the extreme age of this 115+ year old organic item, the fragrance profile may have evolved or altered over time; it is being sold strictly as a rare historical collectible, not for modern cosmetic use.
