We are offering for sale an EXTREMELY RARE antique 8 line Western Electric Co. New York telegraph pegboard/ switchboard..
This had 8 lines coming into the Telegraph Office, Railroad Depot, Police or wherever it was used...
Exact age unknown but believe to be from the late 1800s..
Original as found..Just lightly dusted for photography..
Wooden construction with solid brass components and pegs used to connect different telegraph lines..
Vertical brass bars incised with numbers..Paint stamped east \"E\" and west \"W\" on top and numbers 9 34 35 36 45 54 181 on bottom..
Not familiar with these units and included is what you see in pics..
Quality crafted and a great piece of history..Museum worthy..Would make a nice addition to anyones collection..

Shows some appropriate use wear, tarnishing, markings, distressing and age..

Two scorched marks?? on bottom does not deter, adds character..
There are two brass \"round keys\" missing on front and some screws on the back.. See photos..
