Description Offered for Sale is this Rare Framed 1884 Sixty-Fourth Anniversary of the Encouragement of Domestic Industry Broadside Poster. The heading at the top says State Fair, Second to None in New England. The event was held Narragansett Park, Near Providence RI. The event ran from September 22nd through September 26th. The printer of the poster was Russell:Morgan-Co. Cin. O. Russell & Morgan were in business in Cincinnati between the years of 1867 to 1891, which is in line with the 1884 date. When researching this event, it was listed as the Annual State Fair and Cattle Show. It was often referred to historically as their Industrial Exhibition. This Wonderful Early Framed Broadside would make a Great Addition to any Antique State Fair / Historical Collection.

Condition: - Good to Very Good Overall Used Condition. The poster displays some discoloration, light staining and general wear consistent with an item of this age. The frame display some scratching and there are a few nicks shown in the pictures. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the item for yourself.
