RARE 1947 Large Coca-Cola Coke Original Framed Printing Plate (Reverse)
Great addition for a collector!
Theme: Baseball
Wording: “Between innings…have a Coke”
I’ve included photos of original newspaper ad from newspaper in Texas: Big Spring Herald — April 23, 1947
The Texas addition to plate would have been added below the other plate and probably changed by location
This particular plate would have been from the plant in Greenwood, SC (also where it was framed). This was a family piece that was discovered recently. We owned a general store in Greenwood and knew people at the bottling plant.
Plate Dimensions: 8" x 7.75" (roughly)
Frame dimensions: 12.75” x 13.25”
Total weight: 3 lbs, 8 oz
Custom mat and framing. Will create a custom package for safe shipping. Included is handling cost.
Item will also be insured for full sale value and require signature.
Excellent/Very Good Condition - Please Review Photographs Carefully. Items are over 70 years old. The frame has some damage that is pictured. The mat still looks in good shape overall. Please ask questions or feel free to request more photographs!
