An exceptionally well-preserved Chronicle Collectibles Star Trek: The Original Series Captain James T. Kirk Cat Statue, complete with his iconic USS Enterprise bridge command chair.
Based on the popular artwork of Jenny Parks, this officially licensed, limited-edition collectible reimagines Captain Kirk as a feline Starfleet commander seated in his famous captain\'s chair.
Produced by Chronicle Collectibles shortly before the company ceased operations in 2020, this is one of the more unusual and increasingly difficult-to-find Star Trek collectibles from that period.
In my experience following the secondary market, these statues appear for sale only once or twice a year, and finding an example in such beautiful condition with its original box and complete bridge chair is especially challenging.
This example presents in remarkable, like-new condition.

The Story Behind Chronicle Collectibles
One of the most interesting aspects of this collectible is the history of the company that produced it.
Chronicle Collectibles was a Texas-based manufacturer known for producing licensed sculptures, statues, and prop replicas from major entertainment franchises, including Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, and The Terminator.
In 2019, Chronicle announced its Star Trek Cats Collection, inspired by the illustrations of artist Jenny Parks.
The collection initially featured three characters:
• Captain James T. Kirk Cat with his Enterprise bridge command chair.
• Mr. Spock Cat with a transporter-inspired display base.
• Montgomery Scott Cat with a transporter-inspired display base.
Unfortunately, Chronicle Collectibles experienced serious financial and operational difficulties during 2020.
By January 2021, industry publications were reporting that the company had effectively disappeared, its original retail website was no longer operating, and many previously announced collectibles had never reached customers.
Only a small number of Chronicle\'s planned Star Trek products ultimately reached the market.
The Kirk Cat statue was among the releases that did make it into collectors\' hands.
Today, these surviving pieces represent an interesting chapter in Star Trek collectibles history: a short-lived product line from a manufacturer that ceased operations before establishing a long-running Star Trek catalog.
That history, combined with the statue\'s unusual design and limited secondary-market availability, makes it an appealing collectible for serious Star Trek enthusiasts.
Captain Kirk\'s Bridge Chair – The Standout Feature
What really distinguishes this statue from the other Star Trek Cats is the inclusion of Captain Kirk\'s iconic Enterprise bridge command chair.
While Spock and Scotty were produced with relatively simple transporter-inspired bases, Kirk received a much more elaborate presentation.
