Rare Vintage Wooden Bowl with handleThe Bowl is in excellent shape. Signed by Swedish Designer Karl Axel de Flon for the Officers of the USS Fletcher. Guessing this is from the 50's -60's. Karl Axel de Flon was a Swede who lived in New Zealand and Hawaii. I am guessing this was made in Hawaii. USS Fletcher was stationed in Pearl Harbor from the 50's-60's.Karl was the curator of a museum and a specialist in Pacific Art and he was retained by the State of Hawaii to assist in creating the Hawaiian Exhibit for the World's Fair.
