FOR SALE: FantasticVintage Edward H. White II Memorial Fund 100% Silk Scarf!
You are viewing a very rare silk scarf that was created for the Edward H. White Memorial Fund and presented to the attendees of a luncheon for astronaut\'s wives in 1969. There were only 200 of these scarves made. The scarf features a red, white and blue diagonal pattern, with diagonal facsimile astronaut autographs. The edges are hand sewn. The original tag reads, \"100% Pure Silk, Made Exclusively for the Edward H. White Memorial Fund, Made in USA\". It measures 32\" x 32\". There are no rips, tears, fading, etc., but a very faint mark was found on careful inspection. Edward H. White was the first man to walk in space. He died during prelaunch testing for the first manned Apollo mission on Jan. 27th, 1967.
