Up for sale is a wonderfully charming, kitschy mid-century miniature ceramic oil/kerosene lamp featuring a playful black-and-white anthropomorphic skunk character wearing a red polka-dot bow tie. The skunk sits alongside an elegant white milk-porcelain style font with a textured hobnail finish.

This darling figural accent piece was made in Japan during the post-war 1950s ceramic boom. It comes complete with its miniature burner assembly, wick turner mechanism, and clear glass hurricane chimney globe.
