RARE Vintage Set PINK WILLOW 3 Flat Cups/2 Saucers JAPAN Fine Quality ASIAN

\"Pink Willow\" pattern circa 1930s by Fine Quality Co. of Japan

Flat Cup Size Approx. 2 3/8\" tall x 3 5/8\" diameter across opening

Saucer 5 7/8\" across with a circle indent in center for cup

Set consists of 3 cups and 2 saucers, 5 pieces total

Lovely deep raspberry pink transferware on cream colored ceramic. Pattern of the classic \'3 man\' design of Blue Willow but in PINK, with 3 men crossing a bridge and swaying willow trees in an Asian landscape. The depiction of 2 birds touching beaks is said to represent ancient lovers.

Cups have a beautiful shape with a slightly ribbed body

Design also goes down cup handles and is on the INSIDE as well, for added interest

Excellent condition other than one saucer has a small flat chip off of the back side [see last 2 pics for photos of the chip from two angles]- Absolutely no other issues other than normal fine crazing throughout the glaze, expected for age- no other nicks chips cracks scratches wear or repair to any of the 5 pieces. No fading, richly colored
