REDUCED MORE RARE 1948-1958 Vintage GIRL SCOUT LEADER SUIT UNIFORM TIE CARD For Sale

Was $220. This is for a Rare hard to find Leaders Suit. It is lined and form fitted..It is made from 55% Dacron Polyester and 45% Wool. It has a Leaders bar, USA Patch and a Membership pin with a Brownie attached. There are 2 Maroon Stripes on the shoulders indicating this leader was a Regional Committee Member. The Colors for these Ribbons were stablished in 1948 for Recognition to Scouting. The Skirt is Long which was the Style back then. There are no Spots or tears in this Beautiful Suit. The Hat is unique as it’s made from some kind of heavy Felt/ Wool material. In 40+ years of collecting, this s the only one I have seen. The Tie has a Snap backing and is a “already tied” tie. The Bouse is not a Girl Scout item but a leader was able to put a “White Blouse or White Dicky” with this Suit. This one is a size 8 thin Blouse because of the heat of the suit. The card is in good shape also. Please see the pictures for the condition and measurements. I take Pride in my uniforms taking the time to do research and make sure all the items are correct for that year. They are Clean and ironed.
