Rare 1890 Grand Old Party's Republican Record Of Bills GOP Political Pamphlet For Sale

This extremely rare 1890 Republican Party pamphlet entitled "The Republican Party's Record Made During Nine Months Of Congress" measures 4" x 8" and in good shape for its age. Listing 15 bills that were passed by the Republican Congress, this rare nineteenth century political booklet was intended to drum up support for the GOP during the upcoming 1890 elections. The cover has great images of Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant and the American flag, and has still has bright, vibrant colors. Containing 28 pages with various GOP accomplishments in highly politicized language, it offers plenty of accolades to the Republicans and admonishes the Democrat Party. The pages are fairly clean, with a few spots of foxing, but nothing that affects the text, with no rips, tears or major damage. The rear cover has some staining and some loss to the bottom left corner, as seen in pictures, but nothing that affects the text. An overall nice looking example of a very scarce political pamphlet that seldom comes up for sale. Our research only shows a few copies in existence, most held in major University collections.
