World-renowned architect and designer Charles Eames created this colorful deck of 54 cards in the 1950s for Tigrett Enterprises, decorating them with pictures of "animal, vegetable and mineral" objects -- "the good stuff," he said. The images include close-ups of buttons, crayons, stones, insects, a crab, nuts, flowers, shoes, coins, threads and 44 more varied items. Each card has six slits for connecting it to other cards to erect a three-dimensional "House of Cards." There are illustrations showing how to construct a church, bridge, windmill, stadium and many more structures, including the U.N. Building! This rare and valuable collectible is beautiful, fun and educational for all ages. A version that was missing a card sold in 2024 at a major sale house for $252.
