Rare 1959 Rug - Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Mr. Jinks, Pixie & Dixie - EX Cond For Sale

If you collect memorabilia from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons of the 1960s, here\'s something that you\'ll love. It\'s a 21.5\" X 38\" rug picturing some some of Hanna-Barbera\'s most beloved characters. You\'ll find Huckleberry Hound (as the ringmaster) in the center, with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo on the left, and Mr. Jinks and Pixie & Dixie on the right. The characters all appear to be riding on a carousel. This rug was produced in 1959, at about the same time that the Huckleberry Hound cartoon show went on the air. This 65-year-old rug is in excellent condition, with little to no fading, and no stains or spots; it looks like no one has ever walked on the rug or laundered it. Looking at the back of the rug, though, the ends of the fabric seem to have come loose and are a bit frayed. These could probably be easily repaired. If the rug is framed or displayed on a flat surface, it would look like it is in perfect condition. You\'re not likely to find one of these rugs in nicer condition than this one anywhere else. Rug will be rolled for shipment and sent in a cardboard mailing tube. This rug would make a fantastic addition to any collection of vintage animation characters. Thanks for reading!
