Being offered is this Lladro porcelain figurine. Stamped and hand incised marks on the bottom indicate the years 1964-1970. The blue marks were introduced after 1970. This piece is known as Estudiante (student) by sculptor Fulgencio Garcia.
Stamped mark of Lladro with the first L elongated along the bottom. Made in Spain. Hand incised mark looks to be the number 26. Issued in 1969 and retired in 1972.
The figurine is 10-1/2 inches long and 7-3/4 inches tall. The backs of his heels are flat, made this way so figurine would sit squarely on a table (photo #9). This figurine is in beautiful condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
