Rare Antique Circa.1896 CUSHMAN Glass Embossed Cow Milker, Historical Farm, Dairy
Cushman Cow Milker C. based in Waterloo, IowaInvented by Modestus Cushman- the machine utilized differentiated expansive vacuum chambers, air pipes, Milk pipes and a rotary valve system to cycle suction.
Hard to get farm artifact because most glass components were broken during active farm use and also discarded when rubber, plastic, and metal variants took over the industry. Even harder to find clear examples as antique glass that sat in damp barns or buried in farm dumps often develop a foggy appearance.
Condition -This example has an excellent clean clarity! Height is 6 1/2\" in length. Think glass with many bubbles. There are no noted cracks or breaks. The embossing is strong. There are a very tiny flea bites on the ends as shown in the photos.
