The product is a vintage photograph taken in Columbus, Ohio between 1989 (DAVE) and 1992 (ARNOLD) featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dave Thomas.
The photograph captures a moment in time during the specified year range and showcases the presence of the renowned actor and notable figure in the local community. As a unique and collectible item, this photo archive provides a glimpse into the past and serves as a nostalgic piece for fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dave Thomas. Color glossy prints (stored for decades in a vintage Konica Color PC Paper darkroom box).
The Shots: Features a remarkably young, sharp Arnold Schwarzenegger dressed in a formal tuxedo. Images capture him speaking at a granite podium, interacting closely in candid room shots with gala guests, and posing alongside Miss Columbus 1992 (holding a large bouquet of red roses and wearing her official pageant crown and sash).
- The Dignitaries: Crucially, these photos depict Arnold side-by-side with two legendary local political figures: Mayor Greg Lashutka (pictured presenting a framed, relief sculpture of a sailing ship at the podium next to Arnold) and former Mayor Dana \"Buck\" Rinehart (seen in a multi-person group photo shaking hands).
The Venue: Also includes an excellent wide shot of the empty outdoor amphitheater stage decorated in ribbons and banners explicitly reading \"AmeriFlora 92\".
Part 2: Dave Thomas:
– 1989 Columbus Salesman of the Year (8 Total Photos) rare, incredibly warm photos document the legendary Dave Thomas, the beloved founder of Wendy\'s (which was famously headquartered nearby in Dublin, Ohio). The Award: These photos capture a formal dinner banquet hosted jointly by the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce and the Columbus Sales Executives Club (SEC).The Shots: Dave Thomas is shown seated at the head dinner table conversing with business leaders, speaking behind a stone podium, and proudly holding up a custom wood-and-brass plaque. A crystal-clear close-up confirms the engraving: Executives Club Proudly Names R. David Thomas Columbus Salesman of the Year 1989\". The Significance: Candid physical photos of Dave Thomas from this specific era—outside of official Wendy’s commercial marketing—are incredibly difficult to find, capturing a pioneer of American fast-food history supporting his local business community.
