Up for sale is an exceptional, authentic early 20th-century studio photograph depicting a deep-sea diver in vintage Russian Imperial Navy gear. This is a genuine period-correct analog print on heavy, double-weight photographic paper, not a modern digital reproduction or restrike. The photograph provides incredible, razor-sharp details of historical diving technology from 1912. The subject is shown wearing a classic Russian 12-bolt configuration diving dress, clearly displaying the prominent arrangement of securing studs and a rugged, textured cast-iron chest weight held securely by thick natural fiber ropes. Notably, the oval manufacturer\'s identification tag on the breastplate is incredibly clear, and the historical European patent stamp \"DEP.\" (Déposé) is sharply visible stamped directly into the metal just below the collar ring.
