Pre-WWI Model 1875 Pioneer Sidearm Sawback Short Sword with Leather Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "Gebr. Weyersberg.", "Solingen", "W", and on the reverse is "306", "78". The grips show light wear. The sawback blade is straight, tight, unsharpened but very sharp, a few nicks, has dried oil spots and scabbard on/off scratches scattered throughout. The leather scabbard is complete, has tight stitching, and some surface loss scattered throughout. Length of the blade measures 19 3/4" (1 5/8" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 25 3/8", and in the scabbard it is 26".
Very rare to find these with the scabbard, without Swiss marks! Also have one available with an even more rare metal scabbard, with Swiss marks!
