- Worked for the Northern Pacific Railway.
- Formed the Publicity Film Company (1913) to create promotional films for ND immigration and businesses.
- Filmed state events, including a 1914 trip with Governor Hanna to Norway.
Legacy:His extensive collection of photographs and early films is preserved by the State Historical Society of North Dakota, offering invaluable glimpses into North Dakota's history, towns, people, and landscape.
Later Life:Moved to California in 1921, where he continued in film, passing away in 1967.
