Thisluxurious, vintage collection of Italian luxury porcelain features a brilliantwhite background decorated with a wide, continuousborder of 22k gold neo-classical Acanthus leaves interspersed with fan-shapedflower elements resembling Greek honeysuckle. This border is neatly containedbetween thin, solid gold pinstripes and a final, hand-applied bright gold giltrim. This retired pattern was officially produced from 1966 to 1997.
OriginalBackstamp showing the ‘Richard Ginori Italy’ logo marking is on bottom of eachpiece. Some of the plates also show ‘Pittoria’, which refers to the elitehand-painting and decoration workshop at the historic Doccia porcelainmanufactory in Italy. Recommended for hand wash only.
This set is in very good vintage condition.No chips, cracks, stains, crazing, utensil marks or repairs.This is from an estate saleand kept in a display case and rarely used.
