1 ECO-FRIENDLY 2 ALL-WEATHER DEFENSE 3 MULCH LOCK,STAYS PUT 4 EASY TO USE For Best Results: Follow These Simple Tips!
1. Why is there a white/blue residue after drying? Applying thick layers of rubber mulch glue at once can lead to improper curing, resulting in a cloudy appearance. To avoid this, it’s best to apply multiple thin coats instead of one thick layer.
2. What causes poor adhesion of mulch glue?
Poor adhesion often results from insufficient coating, uneven application, or failing to prepare the mulch surface properly.
For optimal adhesion: 1) Prepare the surface: Use a rake to loosen the mulch before spraying, ensuring the glue reaches the bottom layers evenly. After spraying, compact the mulch lightly to enhance bonding and long-term durability. 2) Apply 2 to 3 coats of mulch glue, allowing each layer to dry completely for 24 hours before adding the next. 3)This ensures a strong bond. Rock Glue works best on stones up to 30mm (about 1.2") thick and is ideal for landscaping, patios, and low-traffic areas with minimal foot traffic.
3. Why can’t I spray this rock glue for landscaping?
If you’re experiencing low pressure in your sprayer or if the adhesive thickens over time, you can dilute it with 20% to 50% water. Remember to clean the sprayer immediately after use to prevent the glue from hardening and clogging the nozzle.
4. What should I do about drying and curing issues with mulch grip?
To prevent drying and curing problems, ensure the base material is dry and free from moisture, dust, and debris. It’s best to work when temperatures are above 68°F and humidity is below 70%, with sunny weather expected for the next three days for optimal curing.
5. How should I mix landscape rock glue or rubber mulch glue?
When using glue in areas frequented by children and pets, such as sidewalks, it’s advisable to mix the glue thoroughly and apply it evenly before starting your project. Spraying may lead to uneven coverage or insufficient glue on the base layer.
