In case you arenot familiar with Ron Lee, his works are hand painted with brilliant colors andusually mounted to a circular/oval piece of onyx. In this case, the figurine is constructedwith a rectangular shaped, molded base, making it a unique and unusual piece ofRon Lee art. The base in non-magneticso it may be constructed of pewter material.I find no reference to the base material on various posted offerings.
After moving from California, Ron Lee’s museumand production facility became a Las Vegas area, tourist staple for many years. Ron Lee is well known for his clown andcharacter sculptures. He passed away in 2017 after an extensive andsomewhat mysterious life style.
This item includes a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). The CoA has been folded to accommodatepackaging and shipping of the unit.

The statutesits on an onyx base and has been hand painted figures in brilliant color with verystrong and intricate detail. Thepictures do not do this piece justice.
This itemis in near mint to mint condition. Mywife bought a collection of Ron Lee figurines directly from the showroom of theRon Lee facility in Henderson, Nevada. Inmy opinion, this piece has retained its color brilliance. They have been displayed in a home curiocabinet in a non-smoking, environmentally controlled home.
