Operating at the peak of his career in the late 20th century, Dubovikov became internationally renowned for his unique artistic focus and strict devotion to historical accuracy.- Artistic Focus & Style:While many lacquer artists chose abstract folklore or whimsical fairytales, Dubovikov specialized deeply inarchitectural landscapes, panoramic nature, historical genre scenes, and complex cityscapes. He was a master of perspective, able to arrange wide-angle horizons on tiny miniature surfaces to evoke immense scale and atmospheric depth.
