To help clarify, it's important to distinguish between Lynton Design and the town of Lynton, as both appear in searches for silver.
Lynton Design (Maker):
The maker's mark —a crowned "L" above three stars and initials—is most commonly associated with fine silver holloware and specialty items. While direct visual databases of their full catalog are private, this maker is known for:
Chinoiserie Trinket Boxes: Often featuring intricate hand-painted enamel or silver-gilt interiors.
Specialty Tableware: Items like my creamer, which often mimic classic 18th-century English styles.
Master Jewellers: Modern high-end silver and jewelry under the name Lynton Master Jewellers continue this tradition of handcrafted, bespoke.
