This SILVER SURFER image is quite unique, we don\'t believe it was ever a scene in any of the SILVER SURFER comics that have ever been published. It was inspired by the artist\'s many vacation tripsas a boy and young manto stay with relativesblocks away fromPacific Beach, and hanging out at Tourmaline Surf Park and Crystal Pier in San Diego, California.

Echevarria\'s handling of the paint is similar to Alex Ross here, but was completed with a very different technique (on slick paper, with the capability to wipe out color, which is rare in watercolor).

The original was done by hand, in watercolor and gouache (the original is sold).The print is on 11x17\" heavy glossy paper.

The print was done professionally and is not a cheap inkjet print. The overlaid copyright text will NOT appear on the print you will receive.

Each one will be signed in lightfast gold ink by the artist before shipping.Print will ship rolled in a plastic bag inside a sturdy tube. Free pickup if you\'re local (northern Colorado). To save you money, combined shipping is available for multiple items purchased.
