Mid-century wooden tray designed by Shigemichi Aomine for the National Crafts Council (NCC) Japan, two-tone version with one half painted black and the other half unpainted, black underside.
Other trays from the same set are also listed in my shop (last two photos). Sold individually.
Shigemichi Aomine was born in 1916. His works are being exhibited in the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo.
In very good vintage condition with some minimal imperfections.
