On July 16th, 2014, De La Soul, played to a packed house at Irving Plaza in NYC to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Guests included Common, Q-Tip, and Dres from Black Sheep. They closed the show with their famous collaboration with the Gorillaz, Feel Good Inc.
After this my friend and I got ourselves backstage where we were able to chat with Pos and Trugoy for a few minutes and get them to sign our respective records and take the picture shown here. Then they told people to give us permission to go up on stage where Maseo was breaking down some of his gear and he also kindly talked for a minute, signed our record sleeves, and took the second photo you see in this listing from that night. You can also see me holding this record with the signatures.
