Silver Vintage Modernist Wall Plaque – Talleres Monasticos For Sale

Thisis a vintage 0.925 silver modernist wall plaque by Talleres Monasticos, aworkshop of Benedictine monks in Cuernavaca, Mexico – active during themid-20th century. It is a combination of sterling silver (per the mark on theback) and brass elements and is mounted on a dark wood block. It appears tohave a chalice, a host (communion bread) marked with a cross, and a stylizedcross pattern surrounding the central panel. It is a beautiful piece!
