This is a nice hand-painted, carved wooden small bird statue in the form of a shorebird decoy. The statue has a nice hand-painted decoration. The item sits on a wooden branch base. The item has some weathered labels and what looks to be some marker writing on the underside of the base (that has been aged and weathered over time. I do not know the maker (decide for yourself the age, artist, and the location depicted). The item in total with the base measures about 6.25 inches high and 6.25 inches wide. The item is from an estate liquidation. The base has a split in the wood, some bark losses, and some wear (see photos). The painted bird statue has some minimal wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
