This limited-edition Sprint Run expression of theEndelashowcases Carpenter Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. To make this elite Endela even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its reversible deep-pocket wire clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.
The Spyderco Endela was designed to fit in the size gap between the smaller Delica and the larger Endura, hence the name.
