Stanley No 67 Spokeshave Both Flat and Round Bottoms Good User Condition V Logo For Sale

Here is a nice Stanley No. 67 spokeshave. It is in good user condition mainly due to the loss of nickel plating and the usual tool box dings. The cutter is in good shape with a V logo and just needs a good honing to be ready to use. The L and R markings refer to the thread type of each side. R is regular right hand threads and L is left hand threads which screw in turning the opposite way of right hand. The handles are NOT interchangeable. The ferules on the handles are marked R and L although the L is faint. By screwing the handle into the back, the spokeshave becomes a rabbiting shave. Nice 100 year old tool.
