This is a Collection of Two (2) Vintage U.S.A. Machinist’s Vises. Included are:
1. A Palmgren vise that measures approx. 2 1/4” wide jaws x 2 1/2” tall x 8 3/4” in O.A.L. and weighs in at a hefty 5 pounds. It opens up to 3”. The screw turns freely as it should.
2. A W.K. Judd vise that measures approx. 2” wide jaws x 2” tall x 5” in O.A.L. and weighs in at a hefty 3 1/2 pounds.It opens up to 1 1/2”. The screw turns freely as it should, though towards the “wide open” end it could probably use a squirt of WD40...
These vintage vises show expected wear consistent with age.Basically, they look as they do in the photos…
