The Brave and the Bold #79 & 85 (1968-69) Neal Adams Batman Deadman Green Arrow For Sale

From 1968/1969: the beginning of the Neal Adams Batman era, featuring team-ups between 3 of his signature characters: Batman, Deadman and Green Arrow. Bob Haney scripted each of these issues, with Adams supplying both the cover and interior artwork. Each issue is complete, and defects are noted below.
Included here are:

• The Brave and the Bold #79. \"Track of the Hook\" has Deadman crossing over from his then-ongoing Strange Adventures series to co-star with the Batman. Very Good / Fine condition: both staples are intact, free from rust, and are holding all pages and covers together. No water damage. The crease at the lower right-hand corner of the front cover extends throughout the book and breaks the color of the front cover. There is an additional color-breaking crease at the upper right-hand corner of the front cover that does not extend into the book. The spine has several color-breaking stress lines on the front cover and some soiling along the edge of the back cover.
• The Brave and the Bold #85: Green Arrow gets his classic \"Bronze Age\" costume redesign with this issue, as conceived by Neal Adams. Very Good condition: the centerfold wrap is detached from the upper staple only, but the upper staple continues to hold all pages and covers together. There is no staple rust. The lower right-hand corner of the front cover is quite worn, and the wear extends halfway up the right-hand edge. There is a vertical color-breaking crease running halfway down the book, beginning at the letter \"R\" in the Brave and the Bold title logo. The back cover has a faint moisture drop near the lower right corner and some additional wear at the tip of the lower right-hand corner.
