Tiffany & Co. porcelain vase from 1996, made in Portugal and hand-painted with a floral motif in cobalt blue, dusty pink, and golden yellow, with green banding at the rim and foot. It stands 9 inches tall, has never been used, and comes with its original turquoise Tiffany & Co. presentation box, a blank Tiffany notecard, and the Tiffany care and product information card.
Tiffany & Co. was founded in New York in 1837 and is best known for fine jewelry and silver. The house has also produced home and tabletop porcelain through licensed European ateliers, and its Portuguese-made pieces are among the most decorative in that catalog. They were produced in much smaller volumes than Tiffany's jewelry and silver, and they turn up less often on the secondary market than the brand's bone china or crystal.
Four distinct hand-painted floral sprays circle the body: a blue daisy-form bloom with a golden center, a pink carnation, and rose forms in bud and in full flower. They sit on a glossy cream-white ground, and no two motifs repeat identically around the piece.
