ABOUT THIS ITEM:
Oversized card measuring approximately 7x9 inches, issued out of Cuba, circa 1937. This sale is for card #41 Tito Guizar.
You will find cards from this oversized set checklisted on the Movie Card Website under Miscellaneous (A-B) checklists as \"Aguilitas Large Film Stars.\" According to that site there were 53 cards in this set.
Very large trading card measures 7x9, more accurately probably a tobacco premium that I assume the original owner would have collected from inside a box of cigars. I last saw these about twenty years ago, and I had been looking for them ever since--for all I know, this and others I currently have for sale, came back to me from that batch I\'d sold in the mid-twenty-aughts!
Scans above show both sides of the actual card for sale. This sale is for the single card pictured above and named in the title of this listing.
GRADING - CONDITION:
Grades F-G or 2.5/10 with wear around the corners including some slight chipping; three-quarter-inch closed tear into right edge; short crease by top right corner tip; overall age toning that is deeper around the edges; light soiling. Given the origin, I wouldn\'t be shocked if it still had a tobacco-related odor, though my nose isn\'t sensitive enough to tell you. Scans show both sides of actual item being offered for sale.
OTHER NOTES:
International buyers whose packages are shipping out of the United States are responsible for any and all customs fees. collects and handles most customs/taxes/duties now, but if I\'m called to do so then items are sent as Merchandise and the amount I declare on your package is the actual amount you paid for the item(s).
Given the size of this card, again 7x9, I have to ship it the same way I ship photographs, so I\'m unable to offer the Standard Envelope on this item. Shipping will automatically combine in your shopping cart though.
Add to \'s cart or basket to be eligible for any bulk discounts including combined shipping—I\'m almost always offering some sort of deal!
All items that I offer for sale are vintage and date to whichever date is mentioned in the title and/or listing.
