Beautiful traditional Zulu handwoven lidded basket made in South Africa.This basket features tightly coiled natural fibers with geometric patterns in black, cream, orange, pink/coral, and natural brown tones. The original informational tag is still attached and provides details about traditional Zulu basket weaving, natural materials and dyes, and basket designs. The tag also includes handwritten information identifying the individual weaver.The basket has a rounded vessel form with a fitted conical lid and woven loop handle.
