Antique Turkish Mauser Bayonet with Original Steel Scabbard
Original military bayonet believed to be a Turkish Mauser pattern bayonet, complete with steel scabbard. Features wood grip scales, steel crossguard with muzzle ring, push-button locking mechanism, and fullered blade.
The bayonet measures approximately 15.5 inches overall with an approximately 10-inch blade. Serial numbers are present on the pommel and scabbard throat. Retains attractive aged patina consistent with military service and long-term storage.

Condition
Good antique condition. Blade remains straight with no major damage observed. Wood grips are secure and show expected age-related wear. Scabbard retains original finish and patina. Locking mechanism has not been function tested. Please review photographs carefully for exact condition.
Historical Note
Turkish Mauser bayonets were used on various Mauser rifles serving the Ottoman Empire and later the Republic of Turkey. Many were manufactured in Germany and subsequently refurbished or reworked for continued military use during the early 20th century.
