This is my version of a fighting bowie. The handle is one piece of black Micarta with a clean satin finish, secured to a wide tang with epoxy.This is not a factory toy. The blade is forged from 5160 spring steel, heat‑treated for impact resistance and edge durability. The brass guard is hand‑fitted, the handle is rock‑solid, and the knife locks into a heavy leather sheath built for field carry.This is a serious working knife for anyone who needs a dependable tool — campers, hunters, or collectors who actually use their blades. If you want a knife that can take a beating and keep going, this one’s ready.These knives are made for hard use. I make the blades the handles and the sheaths myself. They are not stainless. They are carbon steel and thus, will stain and need to be oiled and maintained. However, they will hold an edge better than most types of stainless steel. I make the blades one or two at a time, hand-grind, differentially harden and carefully temper them. This knife, like all my knives, comes with a welted cowhide sheath that is stitched by hand with a true saddle stitch. These are old-school, tough-as-nails knives. By offering knives for sale, I do not represent or warrant that any specific purchaser may legally purchase, own, or possess the knives purchased. You must obey your local knife laws.
Knives may be dangerous if they are used improperly, negligently, and/or illegally. When you buy a knife from me, you agree that you will use it safely and legally, following all applicable laws, safety rules, and common sense. You also agree that you will teach and supervise minors in the use of the knife and that you will take such precautions reasonably necessary or required by law to keep the knives out of the hands of minors and those not legally allowed to possess them.
When you purchase a knife from me, you agree to assume all risks related to and/or arising from your ownership and use of the knife and agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any and all claims brought by any person or entity against me related to and/or arising from your ownership and/or use of the knife.
